Better Off Funding

Better off Funding

The Better off Funding is administered by Crown Infrastructure Partners (CIP), the fund is an investment by the Crown to support Councils to transition to their post-Three Waters reform roles, recognising the significance of the reforms to the Councils and the communities they serve.

 

• A total $9.48 million has been allocated to WDC in "Tranche 1" and funded projects and activities must be completed no later than 30 June 2027.  The funding proposal was approved by Council on 25 August 2022 and by DIA/CIP on 1 December 2022.

• A total of 10 projects come under this Proposal, which includes the Māori Wellbeing Fund.
